jeeo (“we”, “us”) is a campus navigation and student-life companion. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. We keep it simple and collect only what the app needs to work.

Information we collect

• Account — your name, email and profile photo from your university Google sign-in, used to create your account and match you to your campus.
• Schedule & campus data — the classes you add and your selected campus, used to build your day plan and directions.
• Location — used only while you actively use navigation, check-ins, or a safety “Walk with a friend” session. Location is never tracked in the background.
• Check-ins & activity — places you check into, points, streaks and badges, used for gamification and leaderboards.

Safety walk sharing

When you start a “Walk with a friend” you may share a link that shows your live location and estimated arrival to whoever you send it to, for your safety. Sharing stops the moment the walk ends or you arrive, and the link stops updating.

How we use your information

To provide the app’s features: navigation, day planning, recommendations, social coordination, gamification, and the AI companion. We do not sell your personal data.

Data retention & your choices

You can delete your account at any time directly in the app: go to the You tab → About → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, schedule, check-ins, friends and activity. You can also email us to request deletion. You can disable location and notifications from your device settings.
